    Default Aliasing of addon domains

    Hello,
I'm a new customer of Blue Host, and I'm sure my question is one that has been answered time and time again, but I couldn't find it in a search of the forum, so..... I've got two domains, a primary and an addon. The addon domain is shown in the Domain Manager as being aliased to the primary. I'm still in the learning curve, but my tired noggin thinks this means the addon domain is basically a subdomain of the first (aka primary) domain.

The problem is that when I tried to put some Google Adsense on the addon domain about ten hours ago, the ad's haven't appeared. I'm also curious as to how this is going to affect a search engine.

Is there a way to turn the aliasing off, and if so, does it affect the addon domain?

Domain Alias/Pointers and Domain Add-on is very different. For Alias, it is merely another name of your primary domain. For Add-on it actually means another website!

That's correct - if a domain is "aliased" to the primary, in the cPanel terminology, it's a "parked" domain. In other words, it doesn't have its own web material at all - it's just an alias for the primary domain.
