    It appears that box59.bluehost.com took a dump and came back. Here's the proof

    It looked more like all of bluehost's sites took a dive for a minute or two there.

    More like 40 minutes, according to my monitoring service.

    I believe the exact time was 43 minutes and it was a complete network outage. Rumor has it the ISPs OC-48 switch blew but that's not official.

    Actually, it was one of our switches, and it is happy again.

    Also, we have a Gigabit Ethernet line into that switch; Bluehost doesn't have any OC or DS circuits; it is all Gigabit Ethernet, on either fiber or copper. In fact, just about the only Fast Ethernet (100Bt) is in the workstations.
