Question Could anyone tell me which feature is to protect copying context in a website, pls?

    Question about Security, Please help.

Now I am using Joomla to build my website. I would like to protect the context of my website copied by others.

Could anyone tell me which feature in Bluehost do I need to set? or Where do I need to set from Joomla?

    Many thanks

The delete button is one option. Another is to password protect your site so no one can get in.

Web browsers need to copy all pages to the local computer before they can display them so if someone can see a web page then they already have a copy of it.

It's pretty much impossible to stop people from taking context off your website.

What type of website are you running?

Just like felgall stated, password protect the website to not allow people to view it.

No matter what you do, copycats can still copy the content. Even if you crypt everything into funny characters in javascript, all we need to do is save a screen cap of the document, run it through OCR and gotcha, we have everything. Unless it is really sensitive info (you can give away password protected PDF that way), or else focusing on protecting the content is heading at the wrong direction. Internet = Free Info.

The way that you protect your ownership of web content isn't through anything in the web page - it is through being prepared to take thieves to court. In almost all cases either the thief or their hosting provider will remove the stolen content when you threaten them with court action.
