Default Account Suspended Because of the Round Robin

I have accounts both in bluehost and hostmonster and a web site with round robin. The web site's load is distributed each other.

Yesterday both of my accounts were suspended because of the reason "round robin degrading the server performace".

Is not round robin allowed in Bluehost and Hostmonster?

The short answer is that you can't run any application that degrades server performance to the extent that it has a serious negative impact on the ~450 other accounts on your server.

Round robin is not an application.

Then let me rephrase the answer: you can't do anything with your hosting accounts that degrades server performance to the extent that it has a serious negative impact on the ~450 other accounts on your server.

It doesn't really matter what "round robin" is - you were doing something that was causing the servers to take a hit, bad enough that it attracted the attention of the admins. They suspended your accounts for it. So, the answer to the question, "Is not round robin allowed in BH and HM?" would appear to be "No."

I am happy that at least you have learned "round robin" is not an application.

Round Robin does not decrease performance, even it increases. But admins does not know what "round robin" is, like you... So they thought that was degrading the server performance and suspended my account for fun.

Yes, I'd never heard of "round robin" before. So what.

And yes, the admins are obviously bored, so they spend their time looking for things that aren't actually clobbering the servers.

If your sites are getting enough traffic that load-balancing is needed, that's a tip-off. Sites that are getting that much traffic are too resource-intensive for bargain shared hosting.

Ultimately, however, this is a user-to-user forum, not a BH support site. Only BH can tell you why your account was suspended, so they're the ones you need to be talking to.

If you do not know, do not write answer, so do not be funny.

Not for they are bored. They think that they do a good job by suspending. But they do know they do the server performance worse by not allowing round robin.

That is not getting too much traffic but load balancing will increase the performance.

If this is a user-to-user forum, then do not be funny with your ignorance while you are trying to protect the admins.

    Read Before Posting.

The moderators here are not BH employees. We don't know the admins, and have never even spoken to them. We have no interest in "protecting" them.

Getting snotty with an unpaid volunteer moderator is just about the stupidest thing you can do on a forum. The only compensation for doing this job is that I don't have to take crap from anyone. So long.

I, for one, salute our moderating overlords.
Breathe slowly and count to ten. If you still feel like shooting your computer, maybe you should switch to Linux. And then learn to count to twenty.
