    Exclamation Cannot Access Webserver!

For over a year I have had no problem accessing the webserver to change, delete and upload files... I recently updated my internet explorer to 8, which I'm not sure is the reason for my problem. I think I have accessed the webserver after updating my internet to 8....

    The error message says:
    Error
The Folder https://cascadehikers.com/2078/ is no longer avalivible.

I tried redownloading a access to the webserver, but that did'nt help either...
Any ideas of what's wrong? I really need access to my webserver for changing files and such.

Default Your trying to access cPanel?

If you are trying to access cPanel you have the wrong port number and you are trying to access it as if it were a directory /2078 instead of :2078 It is actually http://cascadehikers.com:2082 to access over non-ssl and https://cascadehikers.com:2083 over ssl "you must accept the ssl cert"

I ment web disk. The part of the cpanel were you have access to files and folders of your website. I tried clicking the links and it brought me to the cpanel which I'm not having any problems accessing.....
The url of downloading a acess file is http://cascadehikers.com:2082/fronte...&mainport=2077 wether I enable ssl or not, it still gives me the error message.
On the acual bluehost page it says: Note: Ports 2078 (SSL) or 2077 (non-SSL) will need to be allowed on your computer's firewall to use the Web Disk.
Not quite as some kind of error message but recommendation.... if it were my security, how would I allow it?

Microsoft just produces one broken IE application after another...

Switch to Firefox. It has the widest compatibility of any browser.

The only way in which IE8 could affect webdisk is if webdisk relies on using Internet Explorer for it to work and you are running an outdated version of webdisk that hasn't been updated to work properly with the latest IE. That would be webdisk's fault if there isn't an update to webdisk availab le and your fault if there is and you didn't upgrade.

How do I update my webdisk? My fault?! I redownloaded it from the cpanel... is there something in the cpanel I'm supposed to update? For some reason when I had IE8, it did'nt work, I uninstalled it to IE7 and it worked perfectly fine again.

Well if the version of webdisk in cPanel hasn't been updated to work with IE8 then either the cPanel version is out of date or the people who wrote it haven't updated it yet.

You should try accessing your website from firefox and other browsers to see the exact problem.

Sometimes firefox shows a black page, but if you open the same url using IE you will see a detailed error report.

Same goes with a blank page error on IE.

What does this have to do with webdisk?
