Sorry if this has been hit - I've been searching and can't really find the answer, probably because I'm not familiar with how SSL interacts with domains.
I gather that I need a unique IP/domain for an SSL - thus the dedicated IP. I'd like to set up so that folks can enter as either https://webA.com or https://webB.com, but all I've seen is that you need a second hosting package (and dedicated IP and cert) - meaning around $170/yr each.
I see with godaddy you can get a domain for $15 and an SSL for $30 / year. Is it possible to register a domain at godaddy and buy a certificate through them, and then have the domain point to the bluehost nameserver, set as an addon domain to a subdirectory in my bluehost account? Could I do this for multiple domains? Assume I'd still need a dedicated IP at bluehost, correct?
TIA,
Carl
