    Default Spam Assassin Spam Box

    I am unable to turn on the Spam Box. The "Enable Spam Box" does not have a square around it and is unclickable. I have tried disabling/enabling Spam Assassin but can't seem to get it to work.

    Since signing up with Bluehost my spam has increased significantly.

    Anyone have the Spam Box running? I use IMAP so I can't set filters on my mail client to automatically move those messages. I would rather have Spam Assassin move them to a separate folder for me.

    Thanks

    Hello;

    What you need to do is goto the spamassassin/spambox activation screen then push disable. In the URL that shows in your address bar remove the del and replace with 'add' this will activate that program.

    Now, that's what I call an intuitive user interface. I think I'll adopt that for my site. It's not copyrighted is it?

    I’ve asked this question repeatedly b4 and never gotten an answer. So I’d also like to know.

    I don't use Spam Assassin, but I just took a look at the interface for it. It seems quite straight forward if you take the time to read it.

    After you have enable SA, you have a couple of setup windows. In the first one you can Disable the auto deletion of spam. Click on the big button on the right side.

    Then you Enable the Spam Box next. The message clearly states
    Spam Box
    SpamBox will deliver any emails identified as spam by SpamAssassin into a separate mail folder named "spam". This "spam" folder will fill up and should be emptied regularly.
    Further configuration can be set in the last section.
