Default SubDomain Usage - setting it up

I am working on a more complex site than usual for me, and after searching the forum have to ask....

How do I build subdomains after setting them up through the CPanel? I got that part. Let me give you an example.

Say the main site is homebuilder.com (just an example) and the homebuilder wants to assign subdomains to all their sales offices -- i.e.

    westcoast.homebuilder.com
    eastcoast.homebuilder.com
    prairie.homebuilder.com

We'd like each subdomain to "feel like its own site" yet be part of the main site. I figured out how to make westcoast.homebuilder.com work but have no clue how to get pages within the subdomain to work. We'd like each location to have a gallery, contact page, events page... etc.

Can y'all help me out? Thank you.

When you set up a sub-domain you assign it to a folder within public_html.

Just create pages in that folder for your sub-domain the same way you create pages in public_html for the main domain.
