Wordpress needs "at Magic" server???

I can't find a start new thread button anywhere. Please help.

In the meantime, I'll dovetail on this thread, since it is also about wordpress.

We had a blog with over 2,000 spam comments, so I've installed WP-spamfree. But in the meantime, when I try to even preview a draft of the next post, I get this message:

"The server www.frenchprairiegardens.com at Magic requires a username and password." I don't know what that "at Magic" is, but it shouldn't be there. I'm afraid to post till I know what this is. It has never been there before.

It's right at the top left of the forum - called New Thread. In the meantime I split this off to it's own.

I haven't looked at WP-spamfree. Is it a plugin from the Wordpress site? Take a look at using the builtin Akismet for spam, it works well.

I just took a look at that plugin at wordpress. I really don't think it's something I would use, but that's just me. They do have a web site, but support is via a contact form.
