Add-on domain url problem

Ok, I've searched the forums for a resolution for this problem, but can't find one that tells me how to correct this problem.

I have three domains. My primary shall be called KitKat.com.

I have an addon domain called Kittycat.com.

When I type in "kittycat.com" in the url bar, this website comes up just fine. The url is correct.

I have another addon domain that I added only a few days ago. I'll call it puppydog.com.

Now, when I go to puppydog.com, the site comes up of course. But the url is showing as a subdomain of the original KitKat.com.

So, instead of puppydog.com, the url redirects to puppydog.KitKat.com. I want to know how to fix this. puppydog.com and kitkat.com are two very different sites and I don't want them to be associated with one another.

Can someone please tell me how to correct this problem? Thank you in advance.
