Question My photos don't "stay put" when publishing a page

I am using a very simple Freeware webpublishing program, Webdwarf...and have been using it for several years now. My site is simplistic. I have a Main page(index) and from it, links to many other simple pages, all using FTP. These pages display info and photos of dogs I breed and show. I update the Mainpage once a month, and the other pages as need be. It's worked fine for me and I don't have any inclination to change to some other webpublishing program today.

What I'm having a problem with is, when I publish a page with 3-4 photos on it, 2 or 3 of them "jump" to one of my other previously published pages, replacing the photos that were correctly displayed before. I have in the past been able to correct this by just republishing the page with the jumped in photos...as I have saved files of each page on my harddrive.

Today when I attempted to add a page, my photos jumped...so I went to the page the ended up on, republished it..it fixed that one, but THOSE photos then jumped to another page! Before I get all my pages messed up...does anyone have a solution or suggestion on this?

BTW, my photos are ALWAYS edited/cropped to a size under 1000KB , most are under 200kb. I don't use full scans because they are upwards of a few MGs and all these photos are stored on my harddrive, not on a photo hosting site....so I have to keep the size down for quick loading pages and minimum storage considerations.

I am not familiar with this product, but I did look at their website. Have you posed this question to them on their forums?

No...it didn't occur to me that it might be the webpublisher program since I've used it for so long with no trouble. You think my downloaded software may have become corrupted and that's why this happens?

Trying to answer that is near impossible. I would still recommend a visit to their support forums and see what they have to say first.
