Default Host a new domain on bluehost?

I just bought www.lanslidegaming.com and i wanted to host it on bluehost.

I bought it from godaddy because it was a couple dollars cheaper.

The way I look at it I now need to transfer it to my bluehost account.

My first complaint was that I am now going to have to pay an additional $10 to extend my domain by a year, but that was not a major complaint so I clicked on it anyway.

Now I find that after I verify I want to pay the $10, it says I have to wait 60 days before I can transfer it.... I am doing something wrong? or do I have to wait 60 more days just so I can host my new domain....

yes you did something wrong. You didn't want to "transfer" the domain. What you wanted to do was use the "add-on domain". You can still use the domian at godaddy, you'd just point godaddys nameservers to bluehosts nameservers. But since you have already started the trasnfer process, it cannot be stop. You might be able to call or email support and see if they can stop the transfer and refund that 10$.

In the mean time, for the 60 days untill it can be transfered change godaddy to point to ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com

I dont think it even let me buy the transfer, said I couldnt do it because the domain was only 1 day old and I had to wait at least 60 days.

thanks for help, time to check to make sure that has not happened...
