    Default ClamAV (daemon or clamscan)

    Hello everyone,

I'm managing a Drupal CMS and I'm integrating a module called File Framework. One of the benefits of this module is that it allows me the option to virus scan uploads.

I've got two options for scanning with ClamAV: using a daemon or clamscan on the command line.

The daemon would be less CPU intensive, but I don't see one running on port 3310, so I'm not sure Bluehost has this service running.

Anyone got any pointers for using antivirus scanners for uploads?

    Thanks!

    Default Anyone?

Have any advice? Anyone? Bluehost support hasn't written me back about this...

I think they are running RHEL servers, but I haven't tried to see if there is a way to install clamscan using an RPM in my hosting directory.
