    Unhappy Email delivery issues

    I am trying to send an email from Mike@CollinsConsultingCompany.com (which is hosted on BlueHost, has the proper MX records as required by Google, and using the Google Apps free version of email).

    The test email to MikesPad@Yahoo.com is not delivered (not in spam or trash either), and normal emails from my other email accounts ARE reaching yahoo fine (so that channel is open and working smooth).

    Something is weird with either the CollinsConsultingCompany.com domain (just registered this for a friend a few days ago), or i am not sure what.

    Any ideas guys? Sorry if i am missing some info you need, just ask.

    This could be because Bluehost limits the number of email you can send.
    You can only send up to 50 emails each hour.

    I have had trouble emailing yahoo through a bluehost account. I forget now, but I think many days later, I got an email saying they were rejected for being on a blacklist server.

    If the problem is that you are sending out more than 50 emails in a hour, just call bluehost and ask them to up the number you can send.

    That might be the problem, it has been blacklisted by yahoo.
    The problem is on bluehost not on yahoo.

    If it has been blacklisted by Yahoo then only Yahoo can fix it.

    I just ran a set of tests sending mail from one of my accounts to my yahoo address. In all cases they were delivered, but they ended up in my spam folder.

    You might check there and see if they got trapped.

    Issues with email is why I left host gator i hope they dont continue with bluehost. ive read lots of great reviews about bluehost.

    This thread is about email issues with Yahoo not email issues with BlueHost. I have never seen any email issues with BlueHost - they have always been an issue at the other end.
