Newbie question: Is a database and a php installed with Joomla in SimpleScripts?

Hi,

I know next to nothing when it comes to making websites. This is my first try.

I installed Joomla using SimpleScripts. I started looking at a beginners guide for Joomla and they mentioned that Joomla needs Mysql and php to work. I started to install a mysql database and noticed that a database was seemingly already installed. Was it part of the SimpleScripts installation?

In other words, will Joomla work without having to install more items? Thanks to anyone who can shine a light on this for me. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.

SimpleScripts installs everything you need to use Joomla.
