    How do I go about finding who posted a specific # post? I need to know who posted the XXXXth post?

    Sorry redsox9; I evidently wasn't clear in my request; I'm trying to determine how to locate a specific post # in my forum, hosted here.

    We are having a contest for the 100,000th post and I'm just not sure how to go about identifying that member who posts it!

    just a guess..... try looking at your forums database for the message entries.. they may be numbered(dated) so you can pinpoint the precise one.

    You don't need to search the database... redsox9 showed you ^^^ how to quickly find a specific post... in his example, post #1000...
