Default Changing my cPanel account to a different domain...

I set up my BH account in order to help a family member, so I set up my account with her URL. I then realized it'd make sense to move my two other sites over to my BH hosting account to save a few dollars a month.

Am I stuck having my family member's domain as my main cPanel account or can I switch it? Or is there a way to have more than one cPanel accounts without setting up new hosting for each?

Thanks--I'm kind of an idiot with this stuff--learning enough to be dangerous as I go along.

    Hey Brett924,

Bluehost's cpanel setup doesn't allow for multiple Cpanel users, however, they can change the primary domain associated on your account to whichever one you choose. The only thing you'd be "stuck" with is the cpanel username as it's auto-generated from account setup and unchangeable.

But there's really no worries having multiple addon domains on an account? I just would have 4 or 5 total separate sites that I'm concerned with. I'm assuming this isn't uncommon?

Bluehost tech support can switch over your account to whatever domain you'd like as your primary domain in a matter of a few minutes. I'd suggest using the Live Chat function to contact them. (As gdawkins said, the only thing that you're stuck with is the cPanel username and nobody but you sees that.) Once your account's primary domain is switched over, you can set up your additional sites as addon domains to your primary.
