Default Add on Domains and another website?

Hi. Does anyone know if I'm I allowed to host another website under an 'add on' domain on my current account or would I have to set up another account to host my second site? Does this make sense? Thanks in advance for your help.

Default 6 sites on 1 account?

Thanks for the reply. Can you suggest how I actually set the second site up in my directory? For example, my current site is set up in public_html, if I set up another site, where do I upload it into my directory?

Default Where do you put it?

I've put my second domain into public_html as a folder, as you would with a subdomain. It comes up with its own proper website address with no reference to my original domain.

when you add an add-on domain, it will make it's own folder inside of 'public_html' and then you can put everything in that.

    Default adding 2nd domain

Thanks, for the replies. More rookie questions! So, if I'm putting the second site in the same directory, public_html, as my original site, how are the two differentiated within the directory? Is the obvious answer that each index.html file has the domain in the page code allowing the server to access the right page when someone types the domain in a browser. I hope I was clear.
