Everything installable by SimpleScripts should easily install and run on Bluehost servers. I'd contact tech support via the Live Chat button on the Bluehost main page. They should be able to help you directly or, at worst, refer you to SimpleScripts support. (Failing for os and server compatibility is clearly wrong. I'm unsure on the php_register_globals issue.)

The Livechat support person created and escalated a ticket and the problem was determined and fixed in a day. Something was wrong with my php.ini file. Kudos to the support staff.
