Accessing MYSQL SERVER from local?

i have made an application for managing my mysql tables from my pc.. (faster than through phpmyadmin).

the problem is that i can not connect to bluehost mysql server..

i have tested the application in local and works perfectly.

i type the correct settings in the connection, but does not work.

it is possible to do this?

What would be really nice is if they could get Webmin set up on the servers for administration of MySQL, Apache and other services.
