Zen Cart or Cube Cart

I'm thinking about using Zen Cart or Cube cart for a wine accessory website. Any favorites?

I'm not too familiar with cube cart, but I'm in the process of setting up a Zen-Cart store for a family member. Zen-Cart seems pretty full featured with a lot of functionality built in as far as payment systems and the like. Template wise I haven't found many free templates (most are for sale, which I guess you'd expect with a shopping cart program!) and editing what's there can be a little tricky. The forum and development for Zen-Cart is pretty active though and worth checking out before you make the decision.

Do a test install of each and play around with them. I've always found that to be the best help with decision making.

Thanks, I'm using a test Zen Cart now. Added an item with picture. Seemed pretty straighforward. Many options. Looks like a good program.

Hi. I know this is an old thread, but this information is relevant to anyone that's asked the same question............. It's Zen-Cart ALL THE WAY!! Cube Cart doesn't offer half the functions as Zen does. As far as templates goes, you can find exactly 100 free one's HERE, and you can view 57 of them in action HERE.
