Voice comm programs
Officially, bluehost does not support voice comm programs. This means we do not support the install or the troubleshooting. Our support articles for ventrilo and teamspeak are located here:

Teamspeak and ventrilo will work, we simply do not support them. Please refer to the above articles, as they really do contain the necessary info to get them running.

Thanks for writing those articles. Although they don't support them (why would they are third party) it is a big help. It seems so easy just 4 or 5 commands and your done. LINUX FTW

Voice communication software
Voice communications software like Ventrillo or team speak are used for games a lot. For instance I play battlefield 2142 and using Ventrillo were team speak. You are able to communicate with your whole team and give tactical information instantly through a VOIP communication software program. Just Google Ventrillo or team speak to find out more.
only problem is vent costs lots of money and TS is free.
They are both the same thing. And do the same thing (VoIP) just as well.
It really is just personal preference and what ur guild uses.
