I am experiencing a problem here that is driving me nuts

First of all, for Database name, do I just put in whatever is after the underscore? or the full imperib7_MediaWiki?

Also, same question for the username, do I need to put imperib7_fallen or just fallen?

This has been driving me nuts, I have been trying everything to get this to work but it always has the same old password error and all that.

Please help, sorry for all the please help threads, I really suck at this...lol

you will need to put in the complete name. before and after the underscore.
at cpanel, the place where u created the database. you can view the sample php script to make the connection.... refer and use the parameter.

make sure you... add user role to the database. just to double confirm with you

First off, use localhost for the host, don't put the IP in there. Username and database are prefixed with your username and an underscore, so imperib7_MediaWiki and imperib7_fallen are correct.

I still get an error

Dabase name is user_MediaWiki, and so is your username: user_username.

when you created the database, and user for the database.
what role you grant to the user??? make sure it have all the necessary role.
