    Default Quick IP Deny question

I just looked in cPanel's IP Deny Manager for the first time, and listed under Current IP addresses being blocked, is "all."

Of course, people have access to my sites, as they should, but can someone explain why "all" IP addresses are on the list? Is there a benefit to having "all" on the list? Does it make a difference if I remove "all" from the list?

    Thank you.

I have the same question. Does it mean "all" blocked or "all" allowed? Very confusing.

That's very puzzling. Mine says, "No IPs are being blocked." Try removing "all," and see what happens.

Default cPanel IP deny manager listing 'all'

This "all" is due to a rule 'deny from all' in .htaccess which is used to deny web access to any particular file, mostly the .htaccess file itself or any configuration file that holds sensitive server data.
This safeguards the server settings from being viewed by the world.

I just looked at mine and it says all, too. Very confusing.
