changing an ftp login

when creating an ftp account, why are the login names 'yadayada@domain.com'? Is there a way to change the login names for new ftp accounts?

login cpanel from your domain that you wan create ftp account. then add ftp account, give the name... and its done

how do I add an ftp account without it including @domain.com at the end of it?

Hi

I do not think it is possible as the domain name serves as an identifier. You do not want to ftp to say "yadayada". You want to FTP "yadayada" "at domain.com

So, the address would be yadayada@domain.com

correct. the domain name must be there.
alternative is to have dedicated IP to your site, and you can ftp://ipaddress...
thus elimitate the need for domain name.

i try this at my other hosting plan. yup it can
