RoR or Cake PHP? That is the question...

Just when I'd decided to install and start learning CakePHP Bluehost decides that Ruby on Rails is not so bad after all
Question is, do I turn back now and start to learn Ruby and Rails, or keep going with CakePHP? Does anyone know the pros and cons?
I'm tempted to stick with CakePHP because I'm already somewhat familiar with PHP. I'm not sure I want to go and learn another language unless there are some exceptional benefits.

I would recommend ruby on rails a thousand times more than I would recommend anything in php.

PHP is by default intentionally unoptimized. They do this so they can sell an optimized version for large amounts of money. About 80-90% of our users that get blocked for using way too much cpu are using php applications.
