    Default File Hosting Website breaking TOS?

    Hi, i thinking to host a file hosting using shared hosting on blue host. Is it legal to host a file hosting website on Blue?

    BH does not allow you to store copyrighted material on its servers, unless you, personally, own the copyright. So, if the hosted files are music, videos, or software, and you're letting other people upload and download stuff, you're almost certainly going to run into trouble.

    I run a file host, see signature, and I don't see how I'm breaking the ToS. I monitor reguarly for any innapropriate or illegal content.

    I think it pretty much runs that if you're going to host illegal or adult content, its against the ToS. You might want to contact them to check though.

    the official answer will be refering to bluehost sales/abuse.... they will send you the complete details. As its too broad to advice here, and unsure of what file you going to host.

    if the file is to be used by your website, in generally will be fine.
    As i know, you not suppose to use it to backup copy your sites, and archieve it, as it will waste lots of space.

    Uh, your site has copyright content on it and I remember going there before and seeing it. I don't see how you still have your account.
