Question How do I: create a Browse/Upload button?

I'm not sure if this post belongs in 'General' but here's my goal:

Currently I'm looking to design an interactive webpage on my Bluehost based site - the idea is to allow people to Browse and select images on their local drive(s) and then upload them securely to me (I retouch photos). Ideally, it would be like a drop box that lets them put files in, but not out.

I have seen this feature on a number of sites but don't have a clue how it is set up behind the scenes. What is the easiest way to implement this on a webpage? Does BH have a feature to handle that? Of course, FTP works fine for my own uploads/downloads but can it somehow be used via a webpage and still maintain its security?

During a search of the forums, someone mentioned "Uber Uploader". I took a look at it's installation instructions and it's completely over my head.

So, are there any relatively easy solutions that require minimal, if any programming? TIA...
