    Default Bluehost folders ... ?

Just signed up for bluehost and logged into the ftp and noticed a bunch of folders.
I know that the public_html folder is where my website links to. But what about the other folders?

    access-logs
    etc
    mail
    public_ftp
    tmp
    www

I guess my main thought is, what is the 'www' folder for if public_html is where your web files are. If I wanted to make a database php file with the login information in it, should I put it into the www folder, then use relative pathing to get to it?

Sorry for being a noob, but I am new to this hosting thing, I just code :)

Yeah, one of those mysteries. I've been here for a while and there's really no good answer to that. The www folder just seems to act as a short cut to the public_html so just ignore it or use it. Either way you'll end up in public_html.

    'www' is the mirror folder.
only upload all your content to the public_html, and this will be the root
