    Default Publishing a Wordpress Blog

I downloaded a wordpress blog through Bluehost. then I wrote a few pages for my site. Then I clicked "Publish post." So why is my site not updated?

I have spent hours reading these forums and watching online videos and have not seen what I need.

What do I need to do to publish what I wrote?

My theme doesn't even appear. All it says is "Hello world!"

Under Options, what do you have set for your Date and Time? It might be that you wrote something to be published at a future date. Also, with regards to your theme, you need to go to Presentation and choose the theme you want to see.

I don't know if this helps - your question is a little ambiguous. Perhaps you might post your site address?

I looked at the options in my wordpress admin site. The date & time are current. And I've already chosen the theme too. I've had a wordpress free blog for about a year now. And I just did everything that I normally do. But it isn't making any changes at all for this one.

    The site is www.godcenteredworship.com.

One issue that might be wrong with it is that bluehost technical support keeps sending me these e-mails that say,

"Subdomain re-added three times, and I waited 20 minutes after the last
attempt before creating ticket. Subdomain "forums.godcenteredworship.com" is not recording properly. Note that "godcenteredworship.com" is an
    addon domain (box261)."

So far they haven't been much help in solving the problem for three days now. And I obviously don't know what to do about it. Thanks for your help.

    Default struggling alone?

So Rick has your problem been resolved?
It seems to me that the support is not working very well.

Did you install Wordpress through Fantastico? Perhaps you might consider doing an uninstall and then doing another install.

only 'hello world'... definately something is wrong with the wordpress script.
note that hosting provider will not assist in debugging code (most the time).

and what you need to do is download wordpress script and setup it at your server. It will be very simple.

Bluehost support sent me an e-mail today and said that the domain is finally working properly.

However, the site still said, "Hello Word!"

So I uninstalled and then reinstalled wordpress through fantastico.

And the site still says, "Hello world!"

So where can I get the wordpress script to download?

    It's finally working!

I called Bluehost Support tonight. They said that my files were pointing to the wrong domain name. So we got all that straightened out and it works now.

    Thanks for the help,

    Rick
